Bulk Billing

Please note that bulk billing is ONLY available for unemployed people and full time students. If you do not fit this criteria, then you will have out-of-pocket expenses. In this case, you will only be able to book appointments between 9 and 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and not 5.15pm weekdays and Saturdays which are $215.00. If you are enrolled in university, not attending classes and working, you do not fit bulk billing criteria.

Bulk billing is intended for individuals facing genuine financial hardship, ensuring they can access psychological services that would otherwise be out of reach. It is not designed for those prioritizing savings or saving for a holiday.

The initial fee for the first appointment will be $150.00. Following this, all appointments are bulk billed. You must have the $150.00 in your account to pay in full. I can then send you the invoice to claim the Medicare rebate through your MyGov or MyID account.

Medicare bulk billing is not free appointments. Medicare helps you out by paying me a much reduced fee for the session. I accept bulk billing because I know people need help and can’t afford therapy otherwise.

You must have a mental health treatment plan from your GP.

Health Insurance

You may be able to claim health insurance if your policy covers you for psychology services. I can then send you the invoice to claim the rebate from your Health Insurance provider.

Mental Health Treatment Plans

If you have a mental health treatment plan from your GP, you will need to have the full amount in your bank account. Then the medicare rebate of $98.95 which you can claim on your MyGov or MyID account.

Please note that Medicare does not cover couple counselling.

Exclusions to what I offer

I do not offer reports for criminal, civil, family custody, or immigration matters.

I do not work with LGBTQIA couples. This is not because I have anything against such people but because I don’t feel I have adequate training in such a group for couples therapy. However, I can see LGBTQIA individuals with no problem.
